Meet the Foundation Staff

Roger Ellison, Senior Advisory for Philanthropy, joined the Foundation's staff in 1993. From his office in San Angelo, he travels extensively throughout Texas and the Southwest helping people make wonderful things happen for themselves, those they love and those served by the West Texas Rehab. Roger describes his work for the Foundation as the best job of his life. He is a Certified Financial Planner and works with friends of the Rehab and their advisors to help them make charitable gifts and plan their estates. His promise to others is careful listening, attention to their best interests, solutions which reflect their values and priorities, professional expertise, and absolute integrity and confidentiality. He is a member of the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning and on the Editorial Advisory Board of Planned Giving Today. While he does work with those who live in the Concho Valley, he focuses largely on those who live anywhere outside the Concho Valley and Big Country. |

Rodger Kennedy, who works out of the Abilene center, came to the Foundation in 2001. A Certified Senior Advisor, he provides planned giving advice as well as help with many Senior issues. Rodger Kennedy, Vice President for Planned Giving, has been with the Foundation since 2001 and enjoys getting to help the wonderful people of West Texas and beyond every day. A Certified Senior Advisor, (www.csa.us) and a member of the National Committee on Planned Giving, he especially enjoys helping seniors with the many planning decisions they face. With an extensive background in oil and gas as well as financial, investment and insurance services, Rodger is willing and able to work with friends of the Rehab on important life and planning issues. Based out of the Abilene office, his work tends to focus on those who live in the Big Country, North Texas and the Panhandle.

Craig Nichols brings a wealth of experience in banking and finance but his passion for the REHAB goes deeper. His family has experienced firsthand the remarkable services offered by the staff of the Center. Craig Nichols, Vice President for Planned Giving, joined the Foundation staff in January 2008. He brings over 30 years of banking and business management experience to West Texas Rehab. From marketing and advertising to business development to CEO of a small corporation, he is extremely diverse in his knowledge of the financial world. He has always enjoyed a close personal relationship with WTRC even before his employment. Based out of the San Angelo office, Craig's territorial focus is very broad since he has lived and worked in San Angelo and Abilene.

Nancy Benetich brings 24 years of service to patients and friends of the Rehab through her work as receptionist, secretary and now planned giving assistant. She's the friendly, knowledgeable and helpful voice at 888-861-6385. Nancy Benetich serves as the Foundation's Administrative Assistant. With over 25 years experience at the Rehab, she has a great depth of understanding and appreciation for the culture of the Rehab and its work with patients and their families. Over those many years, she has come to know many of the Rehab's best friends.
